We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will be managing a team of electricians and coordinating with other trades on-site. The Electrical Foreman will play a crucial role in maintaining project timelines and fostering a productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of electricians, providing guidance and support throughout the project.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and BS7671 standards, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
- Coordinate daily activities and allocate tasks to team members based on project requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and other trades to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.
- Track project progress and assist with material ordering and scheduling.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the electrical industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Experience in commercial projects.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)
- ECS Gold Card (Foreman/Supervisor)
- Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
