The Head, Katrina Handford, is seeking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Marketing and Admissions to lead and shape the marketing and pupil recruitmentstrategies at Kent College.
Kent College is an ISI “Excellent” boarding and day school for around 400 pupils from 3 to 18. The School is set in 75 acres of beautiful countryside in Pembury, just outside Tunbridge Wells and is within 35 minutes of central London. Kent College ensures that every student succeeds above and beyond their potential, as shown by the outstanding value-added results, and families appreciate the focus on the individual and nurturing and compassionate environment.
This is a pivotal new role on the Executive Leadership Team and the postholder will play an integral role in implementing the School’s vision and strategy, with a focus on pupil number growth. Reporting directly to the Head, the successful candidate will provide inspiring leadership to a team of marketing and admissions professionals. They will communicate the Kent College positioning in a compelling way and will demonstrate the agility and strategic skills to respond to future challenges and opportunities across the independent school sector.
The successful applicant will be a strategic and senior marketing professional, with extensive stakeholder management and influencing skills gained from within or outside the education sector. Enthusiasm, creativity and a collaborative approach are fundamental to this role.
Salary: In the region of £70,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
