Nigel Wright is delighted to support a market-leading global manufacturer in their search for a Junior Product Manager. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven professional to join a high-performing Product Management team, shaping the success of a diverse, high-volume product portfolio. With a hybrid working model (50% of time based on-site in North East England), this position offers hands-on experience in product strategy, life cycle management, market analysis, and product launches.

As a Junior Product Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the Product Management team, shaping and securing the success of a diverse product portfolio. Your role will involve supporting the full life cycle of products, working cross-functionally to enhance product offerings, and ensuring market alignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management of the product portfolio across all stages of the Product life cycle within the UK including full lifecycle processes and phasing in/out of products.
  • Assist in new product development with volume forecasting, gap analysis and market feedback alongside the PM team.
  • Align the central product roadmap and vision with the needs of the UK target market alongside the Product Management team.
  • Activate and introduce any new or updated products to the range working with Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing & Sales.
  • Support on the product, marketing and sales development of key focus categories.
  • Be the point of contact in all product-related questions.
  • Support on competitor analysis and market research.
  • Assist with the supporting of events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on launch campaigns/Go to Market strategy – (Internal & external stakeholders/customers).
  • Support the running and administration of marketing and promotional campaigns for demand generation, whether price-driven or otherwise.
  • Create and develop dealer and end-user facing collateral for product communication.
  • Assist with the creation and proofreading of marketing materials & content.
  • Proofread content including blogs, guides, and case studies that attract and educate customers.
  • Monitor buyer sentiment, product feedback, and market trends.
  • Assist with the retail and end-user channel development in terms of product support.
Experience and Skills:
  • A passion for product management and a keen understanding of product life cycles.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate market insights into strategic actions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of product management.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (a plus).
  • A valid driving license, as travel and overnight stays are part of the role.
