We are seeking to appoint a Student Appeals, Complaints and Discipline Officer who will be part of the Student Appeals, Complaints and Discipline Team (SACD).
The successful candidate will support the resilience of the wider team and facilitate procedures including:
- Academic Misconduct
- Academic Engagement and Fitness to Study
- Appeal of Results
- Exceptional Circumstances Appeals
They will provide operational support across these processes, offer professional advice to staff and students, ensure compliance with university policies, support policy development, and engage with staff to implement best practices.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, thrives in a busy environment, and can balance multiple priorities while meeting key deadlines.
You Will Have
- Experience working in a regulatory, customer service, or higher education setting
- The ability to communicate complex policies and outcomes to diverse audiences
- Experience in writing minutes and reports
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
