Join the Close Brothers Treasury Team, where you will collaborate closely with the Treasury front office.

Your responsibilities will include controlling and reporting on transactions, managing daily control processes such as risk and limit reporting, price verification, and profit and loss reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Daily Risk Reporting
    • Prepare and distribute Treasury's daily Interest Rate Risk report, monitor limits for EVE & EAR, explain movements, report breaches, and verify trades.
    • Prepare and distribute the daily Liquidity Report, analyzing and verifying day-to-day movements.
    • Monitor and report on Credit limits and credit rating changes daily.
    • Monitor and report on Fx Limits daily.
  • Monthly Responsibilities
    • Maintain the Treasury Finance derivative portfolio, including valuation checks and reconciliations.
    • Maintain Treasury Finance Security portfolios, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Prepare the daily P&L Report, explain movements, and reconcile with financial statements.
    • Assist in the monthly close process, ensuring controls are effective and variances explained.
  • Quarterly / Semi-Annual Responsibilities
    • Provide information for Financial Statements and explain period movements.
    • Assist in completing a clean audit.
    • Provide data for quarterly FINREP returns.
  • Hedge Accounting
    • Collaborate with the Hedge accountant to cover month-end processes if needed.
  • Risk & Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards and fulfill regulatory reporting requirements.
