Recruit Wealth are delighted to be representing one of the fastest growing, largest, national Financial Planning businesses in the UK, who are private equity backed for further growth and acquisition. Our client provides a truly holistic, independent service across financial planning, wealth management and investment management.
This newly created opportunity will be covering the South East England area, overseeing day to day operations of regional hubs/offices, reporting directly to a Regional Director and working closely with the regional teams of advisers and support staff. You will have an understanding of an office's P&L, the Regulatory Framework and the effect both have in respect of further acquisitions. You will have detailed knowledge of the IFA/Advisory sector, ideally with previous financial planning advisory experience.
Overview/duties will include:
- Ensuring that the vendors and where appropriate the advisers are fully appraised in respect of the firms advisory processes
- Keep the firms T&C managers fully appraised
- Assist vendors to allocate clients to the most suitable advisers
- Assist the integration team as and when required, which will include monitoring progress and providing solutions
- Liaise with vendors to ensure they fully understand the firms offering
- Support the effecting adoption and adherence to group working practices
- Oversight of the compliant and timely delivery of MiFID II compliant ongoing service reviews
- Keep up to date with financial products and legislation and comply with all industry rules and regulations
- Where appropriate manage client relationships and maintain competency as a practicing adviser
- Where holding client relationships, you will provide clients with financial advice and make recommendations on how best to meet their goals.
The position is employed, supported by an excellent package alongside being viewed as an integral part of the managerial team. Home and regional office working is fully supported and you’ll be expected to travel during the working week to various South East offices.
