An award-winning renewable technology company and energy consultancy are seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join their team. This is a hybrid position to work from their facility in Worcestershire and from home with some travel across the UK as and when required.
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 p.a. + Excellent Benefits including Car Allowance, Pension and Private Health Care
Location: Remote with UK Travel
The Role
- Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the other areas of the business your role will involve:
- Assist the project managers with all office-based activities
- Contribute to the development of policy and procedures
- Ensuring that all health and safety paperwork is compliant and available for all projects
- Take and distribute meeting minutes when it is agreed as the company's responsibility to do so
- Promoting an exemplary Health and Safety culture.
- Compliance with the companies Quality Management system and updated with current legislation
- Building and maintaining an excellent relationship with the company’s customers
- Be a central contact for both the Energy, Design and Project Management teams
- Aid in the annual process of CHAS accreditation documentation
- Work with the energy, design and project management team to build and update project programmes using Microsoft Project (training and development provided)
- Attend construction team workshops for information sharing, internal training, construction knowledge and problem solving, and general business development

- Experience / interest in energy saving technologies
- Experience / interest in Health and Safety (including legislation)
- Full driver’s license and willing to travel (UK Only)
- Methodical and well organised
- Able to self-motivate and confident in work remotely
- Excellent communication skills to all business levels
- Confident with numerical data
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, MSP
