Regulatory Officer £c60k Package South East ABJ7255 Hybrid c2 days a week onsite (flexible) As an experienced Regulatory Officer with solid SDS experience you will be involved and supporting all technical aspects of regulatory administration and support across the global business across Europe, Middle East and Africa region. As regulatory officer you will be involved in areas e.g. chemicals, active substances, biocides, and pesticides supporting a small but global team. Key Responsibilities Prepare and supply Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in support of Technical Grade active substances, Manufacturing Use Products (MUP), and finished products in multiple languages, as well as the management of the SDS database. Update and maintain: Labels of Technical Grade active substance and MUP drums in compliance with regulatory requirements Update and maintain Biocidal Product Master Labels in regulatory compliance. Update and maintain Active substance regulatory endpoint documents and co-ordinate the process for providing these to customers Coordinate translation of key documents, including: summaries of product characteristics and product master labels. Provide support on and monitor developments in and guidance on: vRegulation (EU) 528/2012 (Biocidal Products Regulation or BPR) vRegulation (EU) 1907/2006 (REACH Regulation) vRegulation (EU) 1272/2008 (CLP Regulation) and associated ATPs vGB BPR, GB CLP and UK HSE guidance on UK REACH vGlobal and EU/UK specific Transport regulations Monitor annual tonnages and maintenance of registrations under EU, UK and Turkish REACH. Coordinate and oversee generation of IUCLID Poison Centre Notification (PCN) dossiers. Provide regulatory support and advice to other members of staff and customers. Qualifications Skills and Experience A strong educational background BSc or MSc or PhD in biological science or chemistry field or similar. Solid experience working with EU chemical regulations, in particular the BPR and REACH. Sound knowledge and experience of working with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) creation software (especially Lisam ExESS). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English. Knowledge of other European languages desirable. Willing to adapt to a continuously evolving business environment. Strong teamwork ethics and ability to efficiently deliver in a truly multicultural environment. Can do attitude combined with a problem-solving and critical thinking mindset. A flexible and proactive attitude and with Strong attention to detail. Able to work effectively and independently in a small team. UK Base but the option of the role to be based in Spain (call to discuss) Remuneration: c40-50k + Bonus (15%) + 9% non-contributory pension, car allowance, commuting allowance, life assurance etc medical insurance, casual Friday, and flexible working options.
