Asda’s 3-year Finance Graduate Programme offers you the opportunity to experience 3 different specialisms within our finance function including controllership, commercial finance and by your third year you could even find yourself leading a team. Whilst studying the CIMA Level 7 Accountancy Apprenticeship at Asda, you’ll gain a breadth of experience and commercial acumen, achieving chartered status upon completion. Find Your Role A career in Finance can offer many opportunities: – Our Accounting teams enable you to build financial acumen and accounting knowledge to ensure the numbers present a true and fair reflection of the business. – In our Commercial Finance teams, we work hand in hand with the business to understand the market and act in ways which will make a difference to our customers. – Our Finance Centres of Excellence develop deep subject matter expertise in Tax, Treasury, Pensions Audit and Investor Relations – Our Transformation team lead the optimisation of Finance systems, processes and people landing multiple change initiatives. On our 3-year Finance Graduate Programme, from day 1 you will be exposed to a fast paced, dynamic retail environment, exploring different areas of finance. On the level 7 CIMA apprenticeship you’ll develop a wide range of accounting skills, whilst putting your new knowledge into practice. You’ll be heavily supported throughout your studies by senior mentors, buddies, internal development and assigned time to complete both your learning modules and prepare for your exams. This is an ambitious programme where you will progress at pace but equally be supported and rewarded throughout. By the end of the programme, you’ll have all the tools you need to step into a managerial position, but your development won’t stop there. Beyond this we will continue to support your development and progression at Asda. It’s an amazing time to join with the Finance function being at the forefront of Asda’s transformation programme. We are progressing well to have new processes, bespoke systems, and a focus on customer insight to drive company performance and achieve our growth objectives.
