We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Specialist Hand Therapist, with extensive experience of performing advanced clinical assessments in this specialist field. Located in leafy St Johns Wood on the Jubilee line, minutes from Central London, our independent private Hospital has just been rated the number one in the country for care in the latest Bupa survey. Uniquely, all profits fund our onsite Hospice, St Johns. What are my responsibilities in this Specialist Hand Therapist role? To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of own professional activities in line with the standards of the Hospital To have overall accountability for the planning and management of own complex and specialised caseload of patients To be highly competent in assessing a wide range of orthopaedic hand and plastic surgery conditions based on advanced theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, often in situations where conflicting evidence is present To utilise advanced clinical reasoning skills and evidence based knowledge to assess and diagnose patients and implement appropriate management plans as an autonomous practitioner.
