Irwin and Colton are proud to be partnering with a renowned transport and logistics organisation in Bristol to recruit for an Environmental Compliance Specialist. This is a newly created role which has the opportunity to support my client on their compliance journey, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001.
Key responsibilities of the Environmental Compliance Specialist:
- Lead ISO 14001 audit processes, championing best practice, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring the organisation maintains certification.
- Collect and report data on environmental performance to ensure stakeholders' needs are met.
- Work alongside key stakeholders within the business and external consultants to ensure environmental compliance and report on any issues.
- Complete and deliver training to promote environmental awareness throughout the business.
A Successful Environmental Compliance Specialist will have:
- A degree (BSc or MSc) in an environmental discipline with a membership to IEMA a desirable.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in ISO 14001 audits, ideally within the transport industry.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
