We are looking for a capable and committed Warehouse Evening Shift Manager to lead our evening operations. This is a new role created through expansion, and we need someone ready to hit the ground running and keep things ticking like clockwork.
We are recruiting for a friendly, family-owned eCommerce company dispatching over 350,000 orders a year through platforms like Amazon, eBay, B&Q, The Range, TikTok, and more. If there’s a marketplace, we’re probably on it!
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Thursday: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Friday: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- 28 hours per week
- GBP15.70 per hour
- 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
Day-to-day duties for this Warehouse Manager role include:
- Overseeing all evening warehouse operations: picking, packing, and shipping
- Leading a team of 3-4 staff, maintaining workflow and morale
- Handling order issues, stock discrepancies, and organizational improvements
- Ensuring smooth handover from day shift and reporting any issues
- Securing the building after shift as the designated closer
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Manager (experience with evening shifts is a bonus)
- Strong leadership skills and a calm, can-do attitude
- Solid understanding of logistics, order processing, and warehouse best practices
- Comfortable using Warehouse Management Systems (training provided)
- Excellent knowledge of health & safety standards
