Marlowe Kitchen Fire Suppression’s Warehouse Manager responsibilities include:

  • Managing warehouse operations and ensuring timely completion of duties as set by the General Manager.
  • Receiving and counting deliveries into our main store.
  • Updating Protein on all stock movements.
  • Receiving deliveries for MFS and confirming goods via email.
  • Arranging stock transfers from all stores to engineers.
  • Providing technical advice to Ansul install and service teams.
  • Maintaining warehouse housekeeping standards.
  • Liaising with suppliers on stock issues.
  • Booking in deliveries received.
  • Notifying suppliers of short deliveries or parts issues.
  • Picking van stock for engineers as per pick lists.
  • Arranging courier deliveries.
  • Issuing purchase orders.
  • Managing employees' Kitchensafe and interface builds.
  • Coordinating with suppliers for stock requirements and sourcing new suppliers when needed.
  • Managing van stock orders for engineers.
  • Organising disposal and waste collection of old tanks and cylinders.
  • Arranging emergency stock deliveries.
  • Unloading deliveries into the warehouse.
  • Organising consumables orders.
  • Conducting exit inventories of engineers' stock and tools.
  • Producing stocktakes for identified issues.
  • Ordering tools for engineers.
  • Arranging collections for IBC stillage and waste metals.
  • Picking, packing, and distributing fire extinguishers.
  • Organising cylinder collection for blow-through tests.
  • Ordering stock for Kitchensafe builds.
  • Performing stocktakes of fast-moving stock and satellite stores.
  • Conducting annual full warehouse stocktake.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Counterbalance forklift license (training available for the right candidate).
