Hospitality Applications Specialist Opera Cloud & Micros

De Vere has a central support office and team based at De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor. Our People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, IT and Health & Safety teams base themselves in this office when they are not out and about visiting the teams in our Hotel and Events venues.

Are you experienced with Opera Cloud within a hospitality environment? At De Vere we have an opening for a Hospitality Applications Specialist – Opera Cloud & Micros to join our IT team. This role would suit someone who has used Opera cloud within a Hotels Front office or Sales & Events office or someone who has previously worked for an external provider offering Opera PMS support.

This is a Full Time Monday to Friday position although some occasional travel and overnight stays will be required to support with training and set up support at our De Vere Hotel and event venues, so a driving license and your own transport is required.

In return the role is offering a salary up to £40k per annum plus some excellent benefits including complimentary overnight stays, meals on duty plus 50% off all food & drink on leisure days and free use of the gym and swimming pool facilities.

As the Hospitality Applications Specialist – Opera Cloud & Micros you will support with system configurations including updates, setting up new users and assisting with first line issues such as night audit failures or out of balances with availability, with a particular focus on OPERA PMS, MICROS Simphony and Concept Leisure. You will also be the conference Wi-Fi Champion and on occasions assist with out of hours support.

Your skills and experience:

• You have a good understanding of Hotel applications including Opera and Micros and a keen desire to learn new skills for which full training will be provided.
• You have good organisation and communication skills and are able to demonstrate a flexible attitude and approach.
