The Council receives around 1000 complaints each year regarding alleged breaches of planning control, including unauthorized building work, changes of use, untidy sites, breach of conditions, and unauthorized advertisements. We seek an enthusiastic, thorough, and determined investigator to join our busy enforcement team within the planning division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate planning control breaches
  • Engage with the public, landowners, tenants, developers, planners, architects, and surveyors
  • Attend court for prosecution cases if necessary
