Under the direction of the Senior Operational Finance Manager, the apprentice will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Management Accounts team while completing an apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general office administrative duties, including collecting and delivering notes, sorting incoming and outgoing post, responding to queries from internal and external sources, and other administrative tasks.
- Work as part of a team, have a flexible attitude, and provide cross cover during staff absences following training.
- Receive induction and training relevant to assigned activities, and subsequently enroll in the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting with an approved provider.
- Build effective and supportive relationships with budget holders, managers, corporate colleagues, and external agencies.
- Organise and prioritise workload to ensure timely completion in line with financial deadlines and legal requirements.
- Assist in reviewing processes and procedures within the scope of responsibilities to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in implementing policies and controls within the department and contribute to developing new or amended policies within scope of responsibilities.
