Are you an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Coordinator with a passion for planning and executing exceptional events? We are working with a large business in Ipswich seeking a qualified Events Coordinator to join their growing marketing team, supporting the planning, management, and delivery of a wide range of corporate and social events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing the company's event calendar, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of multiple simultaneous events.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create event proposals, covering timelines, venues, suppliers, and budgets.
  • Oversee event logistics, including venue sourcing, seating, dining, accommodation, and entertainment.
  • Support events on the day, handling problem-solving, guest management, and vendor coordination.
  • Adhere to budgetary controls, securing the best value for all event-related activities.
  • Produce post-event evaluations to inform future event planning.

Core Skills & Qualifications:

  • Foundation degree, HND, or degree in Events Management or related qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong time management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a proactive, creative approach to event management.
  • High attention to detail and a strong team player.
  • Strong computer literacy and a professional, enthusiastic attitude.
