We are seeking an experienced Mazak Programmer/Operator to manufacture components to drawings, procedures, and programmes as instructed by the Manager/Supervisor. The role requires adherence to quality standards and timely production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently manufacture equipment and parts.
- Proactively improve delivery performance through new methods, tooling, etc.
- Understand and interpret technical plans and drawings.
- Record time accurately onto Mercury System via capture gun, and sign off route card to indicate operation completion.
- Care for and maintain machines, ensuring they are cleaned at the end of each shift and oil levels are correct.
- Identify faults with machines and report to Supervisor/Manager.
- Report any faults in quality or efficiency immediately and investigate to resolve with supervisor/manager's assistance.
- Record all machined components using data capture gun.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Engineering Apprenticeship (e.g., time served turner/miller) or relevant manufacturing experience.
- Minimum of 3 years Mazak Integrex programming and operating experience.
