SPOT WELDER NEEDED IN CHESHIRE!!! Do you have previous spot welding experience and are you seeking a new permanent job role within the Cheshire area? If so, get in touch with me today as we are recruiting a Spot Welder on a permanent basis for an Engineering business based in Sandbach, Cheshire.
Everyone will initially start on day shifts whilst training, but you will have the opportunity to move onto shifts once you've passed a probation period. The working hours on days are 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday with a 12.30pm finish on a Friday, but you will have the opportunity to move onto a permanent morning, permanent afternoon or rotating 6-2/2-10 shift pattern once you've completed a three month probationary period. The starting rate of pay will be around £12.50 per hour, but will increase up to £15.60 per hour once you move onto a shift pattern (mornings, afternoons or rotating shifts). The company offers a £2,000 signing bonus (staggered payment) and regular overtime opportunities paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours.
What You Will Do:
- Operating spot weld machinery to produce customer parts for the robot weld section.
- Following training, work across various shifts to ensure operational efficiency.
- Utilising a crane to handle materials (licence desirable but not mandatory).
- Ensuring adherence to all safety and quality standards.
- Contributing to the team's efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Available for overtime work, offering an attractive overtime rate.
