The Opportunity:
Finatal is working with a leading mid-market private equity fund looking for an experienced individual to join the investment team. This individual will be involved in all parts of the deal process, from origination to execution and portfolio management.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of investing in complex business with opportunistic/turnaround/value creation aspects.
The Role:
· Involvement in all parts of the deal process, from origination through to execution and value creation
· Taking ownership of key elements of deal sourcing and execution as a lead or number two to a Partner
· Working with portfolio companies on delivery of business plans through to exit
· Be involved in wider business investment strategy/operations and act as a mentor to more junior team members
The Requirements:
· Minimum 4+ years in private credit/equity with a preference for complex deal doing
· Strong background in Banking, Accounting, Consulting or other relevant industry
· Excellent written and analytical skills
· Strong communicator with a high level of maturity
