Parts Advisor

Job Purpose

The role of the Parts Advisor is to:

1. Source and supply manufacturer vehicle parts efficiently for customers and workshop vehicles, meeting agreed sales volume targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Proactively source parts.
2. Supply accurate and detailed parts quotations to internal departments, retail, and trade customers.
3. Administer parts invoices ensuring invoiced items are allocated correctly.
4. Manage and control all parts administration requirements.
5. Maintain standards in line with brand standards requirements.
6. Maintain relevant systems always ensuring accuracy.
7. Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.

Skills & Requirements

1. Understanding of basic vehicle design, function, and location of parts.
2. Technical qualification or proven experience of working with vehicle parts.
3. Attention to detail and maintaining good, accurate quality of work.
4. Competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT.
5. Ability to plan, organize self, and meet work deadlines.
6. Energy and enthusiasm.
7. Smart appearance.

Experience

Desirable: Relevant manufacturer experience.
