Are you ready to take the next step in your buying career? We’re working on behalf of a successful and fast-paced fashion business to find a passionate and driven Assistant Buyer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team working across textiles and accessories, with exposure to both branded and own-label products.

This role will ensure product launches are delivered on time and to spec, while supporting the wider team with buying strategy, supplier communication, and range planning.

  • Critical Path Management
  • Track and progress samples, spec files, approvals, and photography
  • Proactively identify and resolve any delays across the supply chain
  • Supplier & Product Development Support
  • Support the buyer with costings, quote sheets, and communication with suppliers
  • Collate product information including photos and pricing
  • Maintain strong day-to-day relationships with suppliers
  • Stay on top of competitor activity with regular comp shops and market reports

  • Previous experience in a buying or merchandising support role
  • Strong commercial awareness and a good eye for product
  • Great communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers
