Are you ready to take the next step in your buying career? We’re working on behalf of a successful and fast-paced fashion business to find a passionate and driven Assistant Buyer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team working across textiles and accessories, with exposure to both branded and own-label products.
This role will ensure product launches are delivered on time and to spec, while supporting the wider team with buying strategy, supplier communication, and range planning.
- Critical Path Management
- Track and progress samples, spec files, approvals, and photography
- Proactively identify and resolve any delays across the supply chain
- Supplier & Product Development Support
- Support the buyer with costings, quote sheets, and communication with suppliers
- Collate product information including photos and pricing
- Maintain strong day-to-day relationships with suppliers
- Stay on top of competitor activity with regular comp shops and market reports
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a buying or merchandising support role
- Strong commercial awareness and a good eye for product
- Great communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers
