You'll be central to managing and enhancing enterprise-grade VoIP and Unified Communications infrastructure in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This is a fully on-site role based in Stevenage, and you MUST be eligible for SC clearance and have advanced Cisco Unified Communications experience.
What We're Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with VoIP systems, PBX, and Unified Communications platforms like Cisco.
- In-depth knowledge of SIP, H.323, and other protocols, with a knack for troubleshooting complex call quality and connectivity issues.
- A strong foundation in networking, including QoS, VLANs, DNS, and firewalls, with a focus on VoIP traffic.
What You'll Do:
- Resolve Level 2 and 3 incidents across telephony and video conferencing environments.
- Respond to hardware and software application requests.
- Participate in and lead Unified Communications and video conferencing projects.
- Support operational teams on an ad hoc basis.
- Maintain and optimise telephony and video infrastructure (MCO).
- Lead and mentor local team members, encouraging knowledge sharing.
What You'll Bring:
- Eligibility for SC Clearance (you must have lived in the UK continuously for the last 5 years).
- Expertise in Cisco TOIP (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IPPhone, Cisco SBS, VG2xx), Webex, and video conferencing solutions (TMS, Pexip).
- Knowledge of VMware Suite and vSAN.
- Familiarity with Kurmi, Telsica, and PeterConnects ecosystems.
- Understanding of SIP/H323 protocols, WAN/LAN, security, and systems administration.
- Proven people management and team leadership skills.
