We are looking for a digital marketing executive to develop and deliver creative and written content for LYVA Labs. You will provide high-quality content for key programmes, projects, and services we offer to Liverpool City Region businesses and the wider innovation ecosystem. Responsible for developing and enhancing all digital and content marketing activities, to support the business and its clients, producing engaging content across a range of channels. The role will support a range of content marketing initiatives, researching, writing and producing relevant and engaging copy and content in a style and tone that conveys the brand, while being customer-focused and engaging.

Key duties and responsibilities

Reporting to the Client Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage, develop, and write content for LYVA Labs social channels (primarily LinkedIn) including the use and creation of innovative and engaging graphics, photography, and video in line with our brand guidelines.
  • Develop and manage a content plan and calendar.
  • Keep up to date with emerging platforms and channel trends.
  • Maintain the LYVA Labs website content to be published through HubSpot CMS.
  • Write, develop, and maintain web content ensuring it is current and up to date.
  • Support the production of a quarterly e-newsletter for LYVA Labs.
  • Produce and collate content including case studies, blogs, and insight articles.
  • Writing engaging copy, ensuring high standards and consistency, in a style in line with LYVA Labs tone and mission.
  • Provide support in coordinating LYVA Labs events including event promotion, event materials and assistance at the event.
  • Work with key team members to plan content and keep up to date with project statuses.
  • Work with stakeholders and partner organisations to support and enhance activities.

Skills, personality, and experience

  • 12 months + of content and/or digital marketing experience
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills with excellent grammar and high attention to detail
  • Clear and effective communication, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate key messages
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Basic to good knowledge of SEO, content marketing and social media
  • Creative with the ability to generate new ideas and content marketing strategies
  • Experience working with Canva or equivalent to create content
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to set relevant priorities daily
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Digital Marketing and/or Content qualification(s)
  • Experience working with website content management systems
  • Portfolio of digital content in different media styles (graphic, photography, video)
  • Knowledge of the Liverpool City Region innovation ecosystem

Package Terms:

  • Full time or part-time applications will be considered.
  • Location: Hybrid - Liverpool City Region (50% based in our Liverpool city centre office)
  • Salary: Up to Β£25,000 dependent on experience
  • Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays (pro rata), increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service
  • Hybrid/flexible working arrangements
  • 1 x corporate volunteering day per year for company chosen charity
  • Company training and development budget accessible to all employees
