Senior Communications & Advocacy Manager – La Roche Posay (12 Month Maternity Cover) Role Overview Are you a passionate communications professional ready to elevate a beloved skincare brand? We\’re seeking a strategic and creative individual to lead the Love Advocacy strategy for La Roche Posay UKI. This role offers the opportunity to: Shape the Narrative: Develop and execute innovative communication strategies across press, influencers, and healthcare professionals to drive organic B2C coverage and amplify La Roche Posay\’s medically-anchored messaging. Lead & Collaborate: Manage external agencies, partner with internal medical and brand teams (locally and globally), and collaborate with the wider CDO team to deliver impactful, integrated 360 campaigns. Social Media Expertise: Demonstrate understanding of social platforms, content excellence, and audience engagement to increase mentions, monitor industry trends, and inform strategy. Trendsetting & Disruption: Identify emerging trends, implement innovative strategies, and create engaging activations for diverse audiences. Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics tools to track performance, optimize ROI, and guide strategic activities. Reputation Management: Proactively address crises and manage brand reputation in collaboration with key stakeholders. A Day in the Life The Manager will drive the UKI communications strategy to increase organic coverage across press, influencers, and healthcare professionals, aiming to meet Share of Influence targets. Responsibilities include executing seeding and relationship-building strategies, leading event campaigns, and monitoring social media and influencer metrics. Collaboration with PR agencies, paid advocacy, and global teams is essential, alongside reputation management in anticipation of crises. Who You Are Highly organized, results-oriented with a passion for skin health and proven experience in a similar role. Demonstrated experience in Communications & Advocacy at manager level. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and project management skills. Creative, detail-oriented, proactive problem-solver. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about making a social and environmental impact. Data-savvy with experience in social media management and analytics.
