Are you passionate about supporting Residential students? GSL Education is currently seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Residential Support Worker to undertake a position at one of our client schools in Sheffield, Chesterfield, and Worksop.

Job Summary: A Residential Support Worker plays a crucial role in supporting individuals who live in residential care settings. These individuals may include those with disabilities, mental health issues, or those recovering from substance abuse.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and support to our students.
• Assist with daily activities and routines.
• Foster a safe and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members.

Requirements:

• Passion for working with young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• An updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
