Process Operator – Permanent Position

Location: Bristol

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: Up to £33K + Overtime + Benefits

Hours: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:00, Fri 07:30–12:30

Our client, a long-established engineering company in North Bristol, are expanding its operations and looking for a Process Operator to join their skilled team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

You will work across a range of manual and special processes within the manufacturing workflow, including:

• Assembly of aerospace components, fasteners, and inserts
• Deburring, finishing, and sharp edge operations
• Pressure testing using pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Part marking (Dot Peen, Ink Jetting, Chemi-Etching, Vibro-Etching)
• Degreasing and ultrasonic cleaning
• Manual tapping of threaded holes
• Supporting loading/unloading of heat treatment furnaces
• Other tasks as directed by management

Full training will be provided – ideal for candidates eager to learn and grow within the industry.

• Skills & Experience
• Hands-on experience with deburring tools and techniques
• Understanding of abrasive wheels and deburring media
• Familiarity with basic assembly processes
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings
• Understanding of part marking processes
• Working knowledge of 5S principles
• Previous experience in an aerospace or high-precision environment
