Senior Equity Research Associate – Japan Semiconductors *based in Hong Kong*

We are seeking a Senior Research Associate to join our Japan Semiconductors team in Bernstein’s Hong Kong office, part of our premier Equity Research platform in Asia. Our research teams are small, typically two or three professionals, offering a high level of responsibility and the chance to make significant contributions.

As a Senior Research Associate , you will:

1. Gain sector expertise by working closely with a Senior Analyst who is an industry veteran
2. Develop skills in detailed industry and company analysis
3. Contribute to our distinctive written research products
4. Build relationships with company management, sales, trading, and institutional clients

Our Senior Research Associates generally have:

• Strong financial modeling skills, proficient in Excel and financial analysis, with credentials like CFA, ACA, or CPA preferred
• A background in Technology and Semiconductors is advantageous
• Excellent English communication skills; fluency in Japanese is a plus
• Outstanding academic performance, typically in the 90th percentile or above, with relevant test scores and grades
• Broad analytical skills
• Familiarity with Bloomberg is a plus
• Intellectual curiosity and a drive for excellence
