As the subject-matter expert for process architecture and robotic process automation (RPA), provide strategic vision and leadership that:
- Establishes a single enterprise repository linking business, application and data architecture.
- Drives end-to-end process optimisation and automation to deliver measurable efficiency, risk-reduction and customer-experience gains.
- Embeds a culture of continuous improvement and citizen-automation within a UK-based, AWS-first, SaaS-tooling environment.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:
- Strategy & Governance – own CtM’s Business Architecture & RPA strategy, standards and KPIs; chair the Process & Automation Steering Forum.
- Architecture Leadership – curate and assure the enterprise repository (LeanIX / Signavio or equivalent), linking capability, data and process views; partner with Enterprise Architects to align transformation programmes.
- Automation Pipeline & Delivery – run the intake and prioritisation process; sponsor development of UiPath/Automation Anywhere bots and low-code integrations (e.g. Workato).
- People Management – lead, mentor and line-manage a Manager and analyst team; build a high-performance, learning-oriented culture.
- Risk, Compliance & Reporting – own process- and data-related risk controls; ensure automations meet information-security, data-protection and audit requirements; report benefits and risks to ExCo and risk committees.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change – act as trusted adviser to ELT and business units; design and deliver change-management and training to embed new processes and bots.
What we’d like to see from you:
- Business / Enterprise Architecture: expert in BPMN, capability mapping and EA repositories; comfortable with process-mining tools.
- Robotic Process Automation: hands-on leadership of UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Microsoft Power Automate programmes; understands bot orchestration and governance.
- SaaS & Cloud: proven track record rolling out SaaS platforms (LeanIX, Signavio, Workato) in an AWS-first environment.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: able to link process data to commercial outcomes, set and track ROI targets.
- Leadership & Influencing: inspirational leader who can coach specialists and influence senior stakeholders.
- Risk & Compliance: knowledge of operational risk, data protection and audit in a regulated fintech context.
- Change Management & Communication: strong communicator who designs and executes training, comms and adoption plans.
