Android Tester London, UK Full time Permanent Hire // Contract Required skills: Manual testing of Android features Following a defined test plan Regularly wiping mobile devices (using real and emulated devices), and reprovisioning them with custom software and configurations for testing Running pre-existing automated tests and monitoring their output Following accessibility and localization test plans Communicating issues discovered during testing clearly, and collaborating with the engineering team to gather diagnostic information for fixing problems Performing periodic regression testing (e.g., weekly) and signing off on releases Conducting functional testing before launching larger features, with rigorous testing and close engagement with the SWE team to ensure feature readiness Maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and execution results Performing exploratory testing to uncover new bugs beyond the written test plan, using expertise and intuition Job Responsibilities The Android Security team develops multiple user-facing features and products to enhance user security Ensuring the quality of products through QA testing Supporting multiple Android security features, including accessibility and localization testing Collaborating with the SWE team during feature development to draft manual test plans and update regression plans Providing proactive feedback on improving manual test plans and testing processes Conducting usability testing and providing user feedback on new features Transitioning manual testing to automated frameworks where appropriate #J-18808-Ljbffr
