Role Overview:

We are seeking a QA / Release Specialist to join our dynamic team, focusing on quality assurance and release management within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in manual and automated testing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions in a secure and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Quality Assurance:

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for applications built on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective test plans.

Test Management:

  • Utilize Azure DevOps Test Plans or similar tools to manage test cases, test suites, and test runs.
  • Track and report on test progress, coverage, and results to stakeholders.

Defect Management:

  • Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution using Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms.
  • Work closely with development teams to triage and prioritize issues.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

  • Coordinate and support UAT activities with business users.
  • Ensure feedback is captured, analyzed, and incorporated into the release cycle.

Release & Environment Coordination:

  • Plan and coordinate software releases across multiple environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Production).
  • Maintain environment integrity and ensure proper version control and deployment sequencing.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to manage release pipelines and deployment schedules.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in QA and release management, preferably within the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, especially Test Plans and Boards.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Power Apps Test Studio, Postman).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release automation.

This is a permanent full-time position based in London. A valid UK work permit is required. We operate a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office per week, 2 days remote, aligned with client policies.
