A local authority client in the West of England is seeking an experienced Housing Enforcement Officer to join their team for 6 months, with a potential extension.

The main responsibilities include conducting full inspections of private sector properties and taking appropriate enforcement actions. This work primarily relates to the Housing Act 2004, utilizing the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and licensing conditions to identify breaches. You will also handle administration and enforcement related to the regulation of Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs).

*Having a qualification in Environmental Health is preferred but not essential.*
