Job Details Location: Rugby, England, United Kingdom Posted: 3 weeks ago Application deadline: Not specified Role Overview The Senior Technical Manager will support the Technical Director and collaborate with Construction, Commercial, and Sales teams to ensure the successful execution of construction projects through accurate architectural and technical support. The role involves managing the technical team, overseeing design and technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities Support managerial issues, report, mentor, and manage team members. Conduct regular Design Team Meetings with relevant consultants. Oversee production of drawings and information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Provide technical support during land acquisition, planning, sales, and construction phases. Review land information before drawing stages. Assess planning information for Building Regulation compliance. Coordinate programmes, packages, and superstructure details. Brief consultants on drawing distribution and key dates, ensuring design changes are communicated. Ensure NHBC approval and manage warranty and Building Control fees. Qualifications and Experience Experience as a Senior Technical Manager in a large volume housebuilding company. Proven leadership in managing high-performing teams. HNC/HND in a building-related field. CSCS card or equivalent, and a full UK driving license. Skills and Attributes Strong communication, presentation, and attention to detail. Organized, methodical, and able to work under pressure. Problem-solving and delegation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new systems. Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
