The Head of Market Risk and Market Data IT leads the development, implementation, and management of technology solutions for market risk management and market data functions. This role oversees market risk models, ensures data integrity, and provides strategic direction to enhance market risk and market data processes. What you\’ll be doing

• Develop and execute the technology strategy for Market Risk and Market Data IT functions.
• Provide visionary leadership and foster a culture of innovation.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of market risk models and systems.
• Integrate advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to enhance market risk assessment and management.
• Ensure the integration and management of market data systems to support risk analysis and decision-making.
• Develop comprehensive market risk reporting frameworks.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of market risk metrics to senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Market Risk and Market Data IT team.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages professional growth and development.
• Develop and manage the Market Risk and Market Data IT budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.

What you\’ll need to be successful

• Market Risk and Market Data management with a focus on IT solutions
• CFA, FRM, PRM, PMP, ITIL certifications are advantageous
• Proven senior leadership experience in financial services.
• Experience in developing and implementing Market risk and Market Data models preferably using Murex.
• Proficiency in advanced analytics and data management technologies preferably using .Net and Java
• Ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Experience in managing large-scale IT projects.
