Embedded Software Engineer

We have an opportunity for an embedded engineer to join our SATCOM team in Tewkesbury. This position is responsible for a variety of professional level engineering responsibilities. Applies knowledge of engineering discipline, processes, and tools to complete and ensure compliance of various project subtasks.

Responsibilities

1. Technical Skills
   1. Has knowledge/experience of C and C++ for embedded applications.
   2. Contributing to planning and executing project subtasks to meet customer specifications (designing, testing, etc).
   3. Assists in the completion of products to achieve certification and customer acceptance.
   4. May support other Engineers, Technicians, and Associates to ensure project and product compliance.
2. Communication Skills
   1. Contributes to project status and process presentations for leadership and external customers.
   2. Interfaces with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance.
   3. Communicates any non-compliance and the results of any internal project audits to pertinent parties.
