The Clinical Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting AstraZeneca’s respiratory brands to healthcare professionals in primary care. As an Omnichannel enabled representative, you will utilise a range of face-to-face and remote engagement tools to work with healthcare professionals, providing tailored support and helping them make important decisions which will ultimately improve patients’ lives.
We are currently seeking candidates with strong face-to-face and virtual sales experience, preferably selling on different virtual platforms. The ideal candidate will be driven by results, resilient, customer-focused, and possess strong interpersonal and technology skills.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities (but not limited to):- Meeting or exceeding sales and market share targets in your area for the brand/s you promote.
- Delivering your call plan and any actions aligned to you in the local account plan.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with your customers to be the partner of choice.
- Maintaining high levels of clinical knowledge in your specialist therapy area and high levels of NHS knowledge to fully understand the environment your customers work within.
- Consistently achieving high standards of in-call capability, effectively using all promotional materials appropriately.
- Demonstrating compliance within AstraZeneca’s UKMC governance framework and the ABPI Code of Practice.
- Virtual and face-to-face sales experience.
- Presenting on different virtual platforms, with strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong results focus.
- Shows initiative and is self-starting.
- High emotional intelligence demonstrated through management of own attitude.
- ABPI qualified (unless new to representative role).
- Qualified to A-Level standard or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the customer and therapy area within area of responsibility.
- Strong influencing skills via virtual selling.
- Success in virtual pharmaceutical sales.
- Science degree.
