Primary Purpose
The Global Compensation Manager supports program management and execution of all compensation programs, including implementation, and execution.
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead compensation advisor to all HR, talent partners, and business groups, providing recommendations on compensation issues, and ensuring effective execution of all compensation programs.
- Partner with key stakeholders to drive and influence development and execution of compensation policies, practices, guidelines, projects, and initiatives to meet the needs of the company.
- Benchmark all jobs globally against industry-specific survey data and other market intelligence to review, update, and maintain competitive compensation salary ranges for each position.
- Lead and automate the annual global salary survey submission process by submitting company data for all relevant surveys.
- Manage JDXpert (job description database/system), plus maintain accurate files, including but not limited to pay and pay equity reviews, job descriptions, job codes, pay structures, bonus targets, etc.
- Complete job evaluation of new and existing positions to ensure accurate benchmarking and classification in the appropriate salary grade level.
- Manage compensation system configurations, data file uploads, testing and deployment.
- Lead annual global compensation processes (merit, promo, bonus) including preparation of employee statements, reports, financial modelling, in-depth data analysis and system configuration.
- Analyze the effectiveness of our global compensation programs to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness and suggests recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in math, business, or other similar discipline.
- 7 years compensation management and administration experience.
- 3 years direct experience with Europe and India compensation is required.
- Experience with US, Canada and Latin America is preferred.
- Recognized as a subject matter expert by advanced education and work experience.
- Associate Member Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), preferred.
