Job Description Role Purpose Managing Consultants are expected to sell and manage the delivery of complex consulting propositions within their area of expertise, driving measurable value for clients. They will also be responsible for leading development of consulting solutions and providing support to practice growth and development. This role involves developing strong client relationships, managing large engagements or designing and leading complex consulting programs. It may include managerial responsibilities such as leading a team of consultants and ensuring quality and compliance in business operations. The Managing Consultant must achieve high personal billability. Consulting Execution Achieves utilization targets and acts as an ambassador for Wipro’s values. Leads teams of consultants, manages budgets, and ensures quality of deliverables. Builds trusted relationships with senior clients, demonstrating a well-rounded consulting experience. Mentors and motivates team members and client staff, focusing on quality and delivery. Business Development Maintains high utilization and manages a sales pipeline to support revenue targets. Converts leads into opportunities, manages client relationships at senior levels, and leads sales activities. Supports proposal creation and leverages Wipro’s global capabilities to generate new business. Thought Leadership Recognized as an industry thought leader, sharing insights through various channels. Utilizes case studies and represents Wipro at industry forums. Contribution to Practice/Wipro Completes administrative tasks timely and contributes to internal initiatives. Promotes reuse of knowledge assets and develops practice policies. Creates and shares reusable IP/assets and supports career development and talent retention. Display Strategic Objectives and Parameters include growth in consulting revenues, market positioning, and account leadership, with specific measures such as revenue achievement, utilization, client testimonials, and thought leadership outputs.
