Head of Investments (GI)

Orange Malone is working with a large GI reinsurer in London that is looking for a Head of Investments . This is a brand new position as part of a large transformation program, which includes bringing their investment capability in-house.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Setting investment strategy
2. Understanding industry best practices
3. Managing liquidity issues
4. Building and leading a team (approximately 5 people)
5. Identifying new asset classes
6. Developing positive relationships with providers

Candidate Profile:

Ideally, you will have a GI investment background, be an actuary or CFA, have Lloyd\’s experience, and possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. The key qualities are being open-minded and flexible, as the role involves many moving parts. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of significant change!
