Job Description:
Proclinical is seeking a Scientist to join the Process Chemistry Team within the Biosensing and In Vivo Performance Department. This role is crucial for sensor development, focusing on optimizing processes to integrate raw materials and sensor manufacturing. The position involves enhancing device performance and scaling up from R&D to high-throughput manufacturing. A strong background in process science, chemistry, or biotechnology is essential, with a focus on designing trials to assess sensor performance.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and characterize the sensor build process to optimize materials and manufacturing steps.
– Collaborate with various teams to implement changes for sensor performance optimization.
– Create new protocols to enhance understanding of materials and processes in sensor manufacturing.
– Conduct explorative trials to investigate material and process parameters.
– Use analytical techniques to assess material impact on sensor manufacturing and function.
– Coordinate and complete in vitro testing for novel materials.
– Generate, analyze, and report data to the team and company.
– Maintain detailed records of experiments and data analysis.
– Research and source new equipment for critical research areas.
– Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate projects and manage deadlines.
Key Skills and Requirements:
– BSc degree or higher in a relevant discipline with lab experience.
