Arla Foods are looking to recruit a proactive and thorough Production Operative to join our team at our Westbury Dairy. Our Westbury site is the largest butter and powder facility in the UK as well as being the home of Anchor butter! You will be working in a fully-automated facility where your safety is the number one priority. Arla has a culture of rewarding talent by promoting internally.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will be operating high speed processing and packing equipment.
- You will be responsible for safety, quality and efficiency on your production line.
- You will receive full training to carry out the tasks.
This role will be working our Continental Shift pattern. You will work 12 hours shifts, rotating between days and nights including some weekends (2 weekends per month).
We are looking for someone who is able to work on your own initiative, have strong team working skills and a flexible attitude to work. We need people who can demonstrate good levels of numeracy and literacy and have a sound technical understanding.
