Join a Growing Print Powerhouse in Runcorn. We are a successful and expanding medium-sized print operation based on the Whitehouse Industrial Estate in Runcorn. We produce high-quality leaflets, POS materials, letters, bills, and booklets for major high street brands, government bodies, and charities.
Our site is dynamic, friendly, and highly interactive. You will feel at home from day one, supported by a hands-on management team with real industry experience.
The Role: Print Operative
As a Print Operative, you will be part of a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. You will rotate across various departments, operating advanced print and finishing machinery including:
- Hunkeler book-making systems
- Sheeting and guillotine machines
- Pallet movers and wrapping equipment
- Insertion and despatch support areas
You will also assist with recycling, stock movement, and loading/unloading deliveries.
What You Will Be Doing
- Operating production equipment efficiently and accurately
- Performing regular quality checks
- Making minor machine adjustments
- Following lean manufacturing and 5S principles
- Managing your workload independently and as part of a team
- Meeting tight deadlines with precision
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a regulated, quality-focused setting
- Friendly, adaptable, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and duties
