Insight Global is looking for a technical Product Owner to join a leading financial services and technology organization for a long-term contract. The candidate will be joining a team responsible for creating experiences that enable change and shape the internal product offering for internal customers. The successful candidate should have demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), orchestration workflows, and precision-driven deployments to enable the client to quickly launch and refresh products and features across various markets.
In this role, you will share responsibility for delivering the product roadmap, ensuring optimal availability, performance, security, usability, and developer experience. You will translate the product roadmap into minimum viable product iterations and quickly become an expert in the problem space, leveraging relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). You will deliver compelling narratives to align and inspire stakeholders, collaborating teams, and our engineering team. Additionally, you will partner across organizational units to drive capability globalization and market adoption.
You will ensure appropriate tracking and reporting are in place to evaluate future investments post-launch and enable analytical decision-making with ROI analyses and optimization recommendations. You'll work closely with the technology team to develop, test, and deliver defined capabilities, and rapidly iterate innovative solutions. Identifying risks, challenges, opportunities, and business integration needs will be a key part of your role. You'll also perform demos and launch announcements with key team members and understand and apply the latest trends and methodologies.
Must-haves:
- Demonstrated Product Owner experience in an enterprise setting
- Previous software engineering or development background
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and
- Deep experience with AWS and tools including EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service)
- Enthusiasm and passion for great products and services
- Ability to articulate product vision and functionality from a technical and business perspective
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels internally and externally
