Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable adults to achieve greater independence? Do you have experience working in supported accommodation or with individuals facing housing challenges? If so, we’d love to hear from you. We’re expanding our Transitional Service Support Team at Charter House from 4 to 6 staff members, and we’re looking for two compassionate, proactive, and team-oriented individuals to join us as Supported Housing Officers.

As a Supported Housing Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering person-centred support to residents in our Transitional Stage (Stage 3) accommodation—supporting around 107 bed spaces. With a team of six support workers, each officer will manage a caseload of approximately 18 residents, providing tailored support to help them build independence and prepare for long-term housing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering 4–6 hours of support per resident each week
  • Building trusting relationships and identifying individual strengths and goals
  • Supporting residents with life skills, tenancy sustainment, and future planning
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to maximise outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service development

We’re seeking individuals who:

  • Have experience supporting vulnerable adults in a housing or community setting
  • Are empathetic, resilient, and committed to empowering others
  • Can work flexibly across a 7-day rota
  • Are team players with strong communication and organisational skills

We may interview on a rolling basis, so don’t delay—submit your application now. An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. We look forward to welcoming you to the team!
