SALES ESTIMATOR – FARNBOROUGH Who we are looking for We are looking for someone with experience within a manufacturing sales/estimating environment providing to the construction industry. Essential personal qualities and attributes/Essential skills, knowledge and attributes (competencies) • Experience of working in a manufacturing sales/estimating environment • Excellent organisational skills. • Good communicator. • Work well in a team. • Computer literate. • Experience working in the construction industry. Desirable skills, knowledge and abilities (competencies) • CAD About the role Location: Farnborough Type: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week basic Salary: Negotiable The overall purpose of the role will be to price and quote customer sales enquiries, procure materials for customer orders and maintain company records while doing so. This will include: • Assisting Customers with their sales enquiries. • Obtaining quotes from Suppliers for customer requirements. • Purchasing steels to customer requirements and expectations. • Producing accurate cutting lists and sketches to allow the yard to cut and fabricate accurately. • Collate all paperwork relating to each job for CE requirements. • To ensure all non-account customers pay before receiving goods. • To work as a team with the other sales and yard staff
