Education

• Essential criteria: Have at least 4 GCSEs including Math and English or equivalent.
• Registered on the General Pharmaceutical Council or working towards this.

Experience

• Essential criteria: Have experience in the efficient day to day running of pharmacy services.
• Be fully conversant of developments in local/national pharmacy procedures and assist the pharmacy provider in regular review and development of these.
• Desirable criteria: Have experience in performing medicines reconciliation.
• Have experience in providing advice to patients on compliance and concordance.
• Have experience in working within a secure environment.
• Have experience in identifying areas where the medicines management and pharmacy service can be developed.
