We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to support students across the school from Prep to Senior. Working alongside teaching staff, parents, and students, you will play a key role in the ongoing pastoral support offered at St. Francis` College.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Pastoral Team, including Form Tutors, Heads of Year, College Counsellor, School Nurses, Boarding House staff, and SLT, to promote student well-being and achievement. This role includes being a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and involves supporting various aspects of students\’ welfare.

Your responsibilities will include engaging with parents, leading intervention groups, supporting home learning, and addressing attendance issues. You will be involved in writing Support Plans and intervening in pastoral matters within the school. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable, supportive, and proactive team player with a proven ability to work independently. You should demonstrate emotional resilience, understanding, and knowledge of child development, with a passion for working with young people.
