Become a Live in Caregiver with Trusted Homecare

Do you have previous care experience and love to enhance the lives of others? Are you looking for a role where you can reside in the clients home for 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off and provide outstanding levels of 1-1 care and support? We are looking for a Live in Caregiver to join our incredible teams based on the Isle of Wight to support our clients to continue enjoying their life, being supported with their hobbies and interests and exploring new interests.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including using equipment if required.
  • Support clients to live a life they love, by engaging them in meaningful activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the home environment.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes to appropriate personnel.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed.

What do we need from you?

  • Compassion, a sense of humour and the desire to go home at the end of your shift and feel 'I've made a difference today'.
  • A driving license is desirable but not essential for this role as our clients like to get out and about with their Trusted Caregivers.
  • This role will be based on a 2 week on, 2 week off basis but other working arrangements can be discussed at interview if required, you will be provided with a 3 hour break each day.
  • We will provide all the training you need with a management team who are there for you, whenever you need us.
  • Due to client's preference as supporting with personal hygiene, we are requesting applications from female Caregivers only, thank you.
