The role involves providing personalised support to students with additional needs in the classroom. The school seeks a Learning Support Assistant who will be enthusiastic, passionate, and caring.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support and guidance to students with various learning needs and assistance with personal care, moving, and handling with hoists.
  • Delivering support to children aged 2 to 19 on a one-to-one and small-group basis.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Be flexible.
  • Ideally have own transport or close public transport links.
  • Experience with small group and 1:1 support is beneficial.
  • Friendly and nurturing qualities.
  • Competent behaviour management skills.
  • Experience supporting children and young adults with diverse needs such as PMLD, MLD, ADHD, ADD, ASD, Global Delay, VI, HI, SEMH.
  • Preferably have moving and handling training or recent experience.
  • Patience and caring nature.
  • Desire to work with children with SEND.
  • Willing to undertake CPD training.

Salary: £445-£470 per week, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
