We are currently seeking Lecturers to teach part of our MSc (Hons) Project Management programme. Due to our delivery model, we require flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and at weekends. You may also be required to teach on undergraduate programmes in Project Management and Construction Management.

Main Responsibilities:
As a Lecturer in Management at GBS, you will deliver modules in the above areas primarily as part of our MSc in Project Management. Your duties include developing and delivering course materials, assessing students, and staying updated with developments in your field and student support practices.
- Plan, deliver, and assess student work ensuring all learning outcomes are met
- Develop and update course materials
- Use diverse teaching methods/materials
- Engage in staff development, peer observations, meetings, and administrative duties
- Stay current with field developments and student support practices
- Design, plan, and deliver teaching sessions as required
- Assess student work and provide feedback
- Support and guide students academically
- Contribute to programme development within the Faculty
- Participate in events like reviews, open days, outreach, and partner visits
- Undertake staff development activities including teaching observations and workshops
- Support dissemination of new knowledge in your field
- Engage in performance management and meet objectives for student progression and satisfaction
- Act as a Module Leader or undertake other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant subject area
- UK HE lecturing experience in the relevant subject area
- Extensive knowledge of the subject matter
- Experience supervising student work and providing support/feedback
- Ability to maintain organized student records
- Ability to work under pressure, plan, and prioritize
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work with diverse groups
Desirable:
- Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent, or commitment to obtain it
- Experience in designing/developing academic or professional education programmes
